Place the Christmas tree next to your trash containers on the day of your weekly service. The District had provided its customers with Christmas tree pick-up for many years and had averaged between 40 to 45 tons picked-up per year.
Recycled trees have been used to make sand and soil erosion barriers
and been placed in ponds for fish shelter
93% of Christmas tree consumers recycle their tree in community recycling programs,
their garden or backyard.
