DISTRICT RECOGNIZED BY THE CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF SANITATION AGENCIES (CASA)
(Westminster, CA) – The Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) was recognized by the California Association of Sanitation Agencies (CASA), a statewide organization,and given the Organizational Excellence Award for 2013 for “Raising Reserves without Raising Rates”. With over 108 represented agencies in attendance, the Midway City Sanitary District was one of only two agencies in the State of California to receive this prestigious award at the annual conference in San Diego on Thursday, August 22, 2013.
The Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) has provided sewer and solid waste services to the residents in Westminster and Midway City since 1939. The District is having an open house on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 12 noon to 3 P.M. to celebrate its 75th anniversary and all are invited.
The District urges residents to visit the MCSD website at www.mcsandst.com for information such as current agendas, minutes, project locations and meeting date information. Meetings are open to the public.
