PLANNING UNDERWAY FOR THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DISTRICT IN JANUARY 2014.
(Westminster, CA) – The Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) has provided sewer and solid waste services to the residents in Westminster and Midway City since 1939. Planning is now underway for the 75th anniversary of the District in January 2014.
At the December 7, 2012 Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) Board meeting, Director Frank Cobo was elected to serve as Board President during 2013.
President Cobo urges residents to visit the MCSD website at www.mcsandst.com for current agendas, minutes, projects location and meeting date information. Meetings are open to the public.
The Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) was recognized by the 2011-2012 Orange County Grand Jury and given the “AAA” rating and placed on the Gold Honor Roll for supplying the best “Compensation Cost Transparency” in government for citizens of the District for accessibility, content and clarity for elected/executive and employee compensation. The Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) was one of only three special districts in Orange County to achieve this rating.
